More safety—more risk? Does wearing a safety gear like a bike helmet affect a person’s willingness to take risks? Psychologists at the Department of Biological and Clinical Psychology are investigating this question. The photograph shows stu- dent Jona Ebker (l.) monitoring such a psychological experiment. The test person in this case is Dr Barbara Schmidt (r.), who is leading the study.
